speculation
there has been some recent speculation referring to our services and merchandise. We at NC Local Music assure you that all monetary gains from merchandise or advertising fees goes directly back into the support of the music community. Money from sales of merch goes into the printing of advertising of local artists, money from donations goes towards funds for organizing charity events, money from sale of benefit cd's goes directly to the charity. We like to thank everyone who supports the cause of bringing love of local music into the ears of those who have not yet experienced it, as well as into the hearts of those who truly appreciate and support the artists who struggle day in and out to make a living from the art of music. Please note that that any monetary income from this is solely for the greater good of loving music and to bring it to the public.

NC Local Music wants to thank everyone who came out and supported our Interact Benefit show! We appreciate everyone's hard work and everyone who showed up! Thanks to The Pour House Music Hall for providing us with an always awesome venue! To all the contributing raffle prize donations a special thanks, and our Volunteers THANK YOU!!!!! We look forward to doing another one next year! Stay tuned for further show info as we finish off 2009 with a much needed break!

We at North Carolina Local Music would like to take this time to invite you out to a very special event. We have put together a concert to raise money for Interact. Interact is a private, non-profit, United Way agency that provides safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault. Interact fulfills this mission through the support of its volunteers and community. We raised close to $1,000 last year and are hoping to do much better this year. What we have done is taken local female singers and brought them together on stage to perform in order to raise awareness and support for Interact. There will be raffles with prizes from many local restaurants, bars, coffee shops, amusements and more! All proceeds from the raffles will go directly to Interact. A portion of the entry fee will be donated, as well as from our benefit cd that we worked so hard to put together.

2009 bring it on!
2009 is going to be a great year! We've got some great shows lined up for you to enjoy. Keep checking back on the website and our Myspace page. We've teamed back up with Vision Promotional Services and struck a deal with Deep South Entertainment. We're going to be introducing bands to the Deep South management to better spread the local scene.
So everyone get out and rock with us! 2009 is here, and we're ready to make it rock!
