NC Local Music is bringing you another Freebie!!!!
Featuring:
West Trinity
West Trinity plays the kind of raw bluesy rock that spans from the Piedmont to Picadilly Square. Free from synthesizers, samplers and drum machines, the music of West Trinity is centered around barbaric tribal drumbeats and biting guitar, with soaring vocals and thoughtful composition.
BAND:
Therese Honeycutt – vocals. Therese travelled with bands in NC, SC, W.Va, as well as parts of Canada and Greenland with the USO/DOD. She’s influenced by all kinds of music, from classical(blues, jazz) to heavy metal.
John K – guitar. John is a Chicago native. He has a unique style – John uses metal banjo fingerpicks on three of his fingers while playing electric guitar – a style like you’ve never seen or heard before.
Kenray -bass. Kenray was brought up in the Atlanta music scene. He trained in his family’s recording studio and plays fretless bass with a plectrum.
Jensen Tu – drums. Jensen spent most of his youth in Beijing China, and the cultural and musical influence of Asia shows up in his tribal yet precise drum style.

Finally, the canvas of hip hop has been splashed with a brand new color. Armed with a guitar and a notebook, hip hop songwriter/producer Chris Harlan is impressing new fans everyday as he hops on stage, wails on his guitar and spits mind blowing rhymes. Chris Harlan released his first album "Harlan presents Brainstorm" in 2006. The single "Bring that Back" caught the attention of some indie film producers for various NC films, and Harlan was also invited to New York to be on the Speed Channel TV show "Unique Whips" as well as record a theme song for the nationwide cable show. The owner, Will Castro, heard Harlan freestyle and immediately got on the phone and called rapper Busta Rhymes to tell him who Chris Harlan was! Since the album, Harlan's song "Like the Showgram" was played on one of the biggest NC Radio Stations, on G105's hit show "Bob & the Showgram" as they played the song and complimented on his music. Chris Harlan's brand new single "That's Another Thing" is simply being called "genius" by people from all over. The smooth guitar chords along with the catchy chant of the dance-style chorus, Harlan is amazing onlookers with his truly unique skill and completely refreshing peformance. His unique style is self-driven but also results from his wide range of influences such as Nirvana, Kid Rock, Beastie Boys, Talib Kwali, KRS One, Jadakiss, System of a Down, Biggie, Marilyn Manson, and Eminem.
